Here we go

Well here goes....my first ever blog....where do i start...no idea...

So here i am sat at the laptop think wow what have i done, can i do this, the answer is of course you can!! so here goes.  I'm loving being a mum to Jack who will be 8 on Sunday....how fast has it gone...i knew time did go fast as older two are 26 (girl) and 23 (Boy) but this time i thought take it slow and enjoy and we have, but time still flies.

We decided after a 2yrs of unhappiness at school to home educate Jack and i must say i love every minute. Been home educating now for 18mnths and would hate to go back.  Decided to grow our own veg in the not very large garden and look after animals.... a hobby which has grown and grown as animals keep finding me. So far we have 3 dogs 3 cats one of which is a kitten that moved in last thurs and 1 bearded Dragon 1 Parakeet 1 tortoise and 2 chickens... half are other peoples cast offs but its their loss and my gain because they are all lovely and some quite mad but then so am I.

Now Jack is shouting from upstairs...there's a spider on the wall mum!!  He's got no hopes i love animals but NOT spiders. Will go have a look and then say its ok huney Dad will see to it later!! While I back out the room slowly!!

Well a bit about me I'm short, plump with very very long hair and have a very naughty sense of humour which does on occasions get me into a lot of trouble.. but thats me. I love my family and my dream is to have a small holding and take in all the animals i can to give them a loving caring home while looking after my family and perhaps indulging my hobbies, which of late have gone on the back burner whilst i get over a nasty break of my right elbow. I am now finally beginning to feel that i am getting my life back and slowly getting used to not being able to do everything that i did before. That has been very hard because i was very independent and cold do all jobs around the house and garden myself now i can't.  Find this frustrating beyond belief.

Well that's it for now, must get on with the day ... the washing won't do itself, the steak and kidney pie won't make its own pastry and jack definitely won't get his jobs done without mums watchful eye........
